Nicole asked me about the heel shaping and as you can see, they're pointy. I think it was the way I sewed them up - I did not do the usual t-shaped heel seaming, I just folded and seamed.
So what I am attempting to do is curve in the heel at the beginning and maybe give the slipper more of a heel shape.
If you notice I've also worked garter stitch edging at the top and even joined the foot section on double points and knitted in the round.
I do love to experiment! It will all come together in the wash - keeping my fingers crossed....

Here is how the heel looks like after increasing by 2 stitches in the middle every other knit row. Hopefully this will curve after felting. Have to knit up the second one next.
