What started as a bunch of odd balls pulled from the stash...turned into this shawl I finished today! Sometimes we have to make do with what we have. That's what I am doing as I weave my shawls. It's been very windy here in Fontana. Hot and dry too. Yesterday, the smell of smoke woke me up at midnight. We had a fire near the 15 freeway. It's 60% contained by now. Remember this? The Babette Blanket I started for my grandson back in May.I finished the 2nd to last panel and layed it out on a double bed. I've been making great progress on my sister's Juliet Cardigan. I've reached the lace part. I'm making the large size, but using the stitch counts for medium at the lace section. Yesterday I went to several thrift shops and found a very nice small afghan, 37" x 52". I washed it and it's ready to go for the Blanket Blitz.Found a few bags of odds and ends that will be great for my crochet squares.
