A Year Has Gone By

I have been away from this Blogging business for a whole year?
Blame it on lots of things or mainly - life events. Good and bad.

Since this is mainly a Knitting Blog I am once again participating in the unofficial Mittenz War we have every year about this time.
Officially it is knitting mittens for the Cheyenne River Reservation to mail away in a blitz sometime in Sept of this year.
It's only a "war" because some of us members of the Native American Support Group on Yahoo get quite carried away trying to out do each other with much cheering going on.
Lots of fun + lots of mittens = more mittens to keep cold hands warmer this winter.

Using this Blog to post pics of my completed mittens.
Used Big Huge Labs to make the mosaic.

The First Nine Pairs

Notes: I used all different types of patterns, tweaking them along the way. Most of the details can be found on my Ravelry Project Page.
So if you are on Ravelry - just jump to that.

I have been watching for you to be back Mariella. I had to come up with a grandma name dgs could say and I am a Nonni too. Dh is bapa. Dgs came up with that himself. Tried to get him to say grandma. No way. One day I said can you say Nonni? Nonni. I looked at him and said I'm Nonni

Hope things are better for you. My last year has been breast cancer and lymphedema so I am doing more loom knitting than needle knitting but I have missed your posts.
