Weaving Story

Many years ago while at Stitches West, I bought my daughter a weaving loom.

It came pre-warped and we both worked on it and then it got put away....

This summer I took it out again and finished the scarf that had been started.
Thanks to the Ravelry forums for Rigid Heddles and all the good tips, I got really excited about weaving!

I made 3 more scarves and a baby blanket!
Yippee!
This weaving sure eats up my worsted weight stash.

Then I left for vacation and have not taken any pictures of said scarves or blanket. Will do soon and post and be back with my NEW loom purchase while in Colorado.

Meanwhile I leave you with dear granddaughter on her 1st birthday.

I would love tolearn how to weave! I saw some awesome scarves, but I'm more intersted in weaving towels and other cottony stuff. Can't wait to see your scarves and the baby blanket! Your sweet little granddaughter is one year already? Happy Birthday to her!

Cool--can you weave mittens? ;)

I've looked at the rigid heddle looms at the LYS and think I'd like to learn, too. But I just can't do one more hobby.....
