Busy Needles

My needles have been busy and here are my latest FO's - more little Baby Surprise sweaters.

I even knit up a hat and used the Tychus pattern from Knitty.com as a guide.
The Tychus pattern calls for double strands of yarn, I just used 1 strand of knitting worsted and smaller needles.

Another smaller sized Baby Surprise Jacket with a V-neck variation.
I just decreased by knitting two together at the ends on every other row.

Short row garter stitch hats - no specific pattern - just a variation of my Sideways Hat and the Tychus hat.

***The Baby Surprise Jacket is a pattern by Elizabeth Zimmermann

I just love those baby sweater's, so I ran out got the pattern and the yarn. Now I'm stuck. Maybe I'm just not reading this pattern correctly. Maybe you can help, after row 7, am I increasing the 9 sts. or am I still decreasing until I get to the 90 sts. Thanks, Sherrie spiritknits@yahoo.com

Oh you'll just love this pattern once you get the hang of it!

And yes you are still decreasing down to the 90 sts at the specified points.

You might want to join the Knitbabysurprise group over at Yahoo Groups. I belong and I have learned so much from them. Right now we are doing a the BSJ KAL.

Hi from Austria! Oh, I can't believe how cute these little sweaters and the hats are, and the colors you used for them make them even prettier!

Those are so cute! I love to make baby items because of the cuteness factor, and they are a fairly quick knit...depending on the pattern.

Very cute sweater. I love the tychus pattern for baby hats! I made a few of them and they fit and stay on babies great.
